I like: my cat, my service dog-to-be, Food Network, purple, sewing, American Girl, typing, and that's about it!

Any sort of religion in particular?

I like learning about them all, but right now my main one to study is Christianity, ever since I became a Christian. When I was 17, right up until just about a year and a half ago, it was Judaism. I have never immersed myself so intently into anything before then as I had with Judaism. I even ended up going to the syngaogue, and people there who knew I was not even Jewish were asking me questions. I also took a Judaism class at school, and the professor would answer a question sometimes, then would turn to me and say, "right?" or "can you elaborate on that?" (since his speciality was Islam and he knew how obsessed I was with Judaism.) I had even taught myself to read Hebrew in just a week or two. I know quite a bit about many religions though, but those are my top two.

I love Judaism. I used to be a Catholic but stopped believing suddenly years ago. I started reading about Judaism and fell in love. <3 I used to have indepth convos with one of my friends who was Jewish (Conservative) and that was pretty awesome. Not my special interest anymore, though.
Now, I just like gerbils, comp sci, genetics, neuroscience, and video games, mainly rpgs.

I've always liked learning about different belief systems, especially Christianity. I began to learn about it when I was just 9 or 10 and became a Christian in high school. I had a friend in partial who was an Orthodox Jew, and we asked each other questions for hours! It's so cool to learn about other faiths.

Right now I like to study autism. I've been interested in roleplaying games, computer games, wargames, my pet cats (but I currently have no cats ), various SF and fantasy TV shows and movies. I never remember them all at one time to list them all, but this is a good start.

The main ones: Science fiction (mainly Stargate, Star Trek, Star Wars and Doctor Who), military aircraft, astronomy, Burn Notice, and listening to various rock/punk bands and seeing them live.
Other interests I sometimes get back into: drawing/painting, photography, spies, The Manhattan Project and sometimes political activism.
Most of the new short term interests I have start up from researching about things for my story. I got really obsessed one day with learning about the Blue Mountains and secret tunnels under certain buildings in Australia.
The weather interests me too. If I want to know something about it I just consult my pocket book. Can be good to read if I can't figure out what to do all day. Volcanoes and Tornadoes are very interesting too. Recently, I've been obsessing about the stormy weather and the Aurora Australis which I want to but won't be able to see.

Oi vey, I wish I'd never studied autism... because now I kind of know more than most doctors, and, well, I want to tell them that they're blatantly WRONG. Gah.

I feel the same way. My psychiatrist doesn't know the first thing about autism. I guess maybe it's because he's an ADHD expert.

Do I remember that you have ADHD, too? Or am I making that up?
My doctor is an autism expert, and she still doesn't know a lot.

When I was little I was obsessed with spiders. My friends and family still tease me because I would keep spiders in jars in my room. I even kept a Black Widow in my room until my parents made me get rid of her:( Yes, I do know they are venomous. Sometimes I feel like autistic people are like spiders: they are misunderstood and some people think that the world would be better without them, but think about all they have done. Think of all the bugs we would have on this planet without spiders. Think of all the inventions and such we wouldn't have without Autistic people. I think that's part of the reason I like spiders is because I can kind of relate.
My other likes include animals of any sort, my pets, books (though that's more of an obsession), learning about space and prehistory, and learning about Christianity as I am Christian.

I also love Disney movies. My two favorite movies are The Lion King and The Little Mermaid (which I am watching right now).
